[00:00:00] Speaker A: I was a rapper for seven years. I wanted to mix it up, try some new shit. I did some country trap and now I'm back to like my earliest style. Like the dirty funk shit. Dark shit. [00:00:11] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, mix up dirty funk, bro. Hey, what's up, man? It's Javi Mac. We're here with Young Gravy. [00:00:26] Speaker A: Yes, sir. [00:00:27] Speaker B: Yes, sir. So, man, you've, you've been involved in this industry. A lot of fun stuff. How'd you get involved? [00:00:34] Speaker A: I watched a few porn stars and I realized they're very, they're great people, you know, very down to earth. We have the same values. They chill, they smoke weed, they, they enjoy life and, you know, start coming around. And I got, I got some offers for shows and so, yeah, I love this world. Good people. [00:00:52] Speaker B: What's, what's the, how's the shows change doing it for adult film stars as opposed to, you know, a corporate event or like that? [00:00:59] Speaker A: Well, I mean, I actually also have done a lot of like state fairs and, and shows where I have to actually keep it clean. So I have completely different, like full, different rig set. Like, like a whole rig, like a whole different computer for the clean shows and one for the dirty show. [00:01:16] Speaker B: Right. [00:01:16] Speaker A: I mean, my own, like, personal concert is going to be dirty, but it's like the, you know, right. I'll do, I'll do ones where I have to actually not swear wild. So, so, so, you know, I've gotten really good at just switching personalities, you. [00:01:27] Speaker B: Know, does that stifle the creative or you don't mind it? It's like you flow, you change. [00:01:31] Speaker A: It's, it, you know, it doesn't hurt. Cuz it's all music that I already made, you know, and, and the banter and all that. I can make it work. I used to be a camp counselor when I was younger, so, so. [00:01:39] Speaker B: Oh, Joe, me too, brother. Yeah, I was a Jewish camp counselor. [00:01:44] Speaker A: You know, you can turn off that filter like that, you know, it's, it's like I'll just not, not say, man. [00:01:49] Speaker B: You're like, oh, the kids are here. [00:01:51] Speaker A: All right. [00:01:51] Speaker B: Hey, how's it going? [00:01:52] Speaker A: I, for real been, I've been at shows for, in my ears, they tell me like every swear word is $1,000 fine. [00:01:58] Speaker B: Oh my God. [00:01:59] Speaker A: Like, like, like they'll keep track of it in my ear, so say, hey, I've gotten really good at it. [00:02:03] Speaker B: Yeah. Like $10,000 right there. Yeah. [00:02:05] Speaker A: Oh, I, I, I think I had one where it was 24, 000. [00:02:08] Speaker B: Whoa. [00:02:09] Speaker A: Because the, it wasn't Coming through. It wasn't coming through until it was too late. [00:02:13] Speaker B: Yeah. Oh my God. [00:02:14] Speaker A: Yeah, man. So it's interesting, bro. [00:02:16] Speaker B: That's how you do it. So you did the country you're doing, you're switching up, you're dropping a totally different music coming up. [00:02:22] Speaker A: Yeah, I mean, yeah, I'm basically. I, I, I was a rapper for seven years. I wanted to mix it up, try some new shit. I did some country trap and now I'm back to like my earliest style. Like the dirty funk shit, Dark shit. [00:02:35] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, dirty funk, bro. What's some advice you can give to up and cominging artist, rapper, everything like that. Now that you, you've been in the game for a while, I say just. [00:02:45] Speaker A: Don'T, don't follow trends. Like if everybody's doing one thing, don't do that. Do, do what you like. And yeah, I mean, shit, you want to have people dropping young gravy type beats. You want them to have, you want them to drop beats that are your name. Don't, don't like go buy a playboy cardi type beat and try to get on that make her make your own and then they'll make a beat style about you. [00:03:11] Speaker B: Right? I'm gonna drop a hobby Mac type beat. Exactly. [00:03:14] Speaker A: Precisely, bro. That's what I'm saying. [00:03:16] Speaker B: Definitely appreciate it, man. Appreciate. Thanks for supporting me earlier with. [00:03:19] Speaker A: I dropped the album stars, baby with it. [00:03:23] Speaker B: Hey, appreciate it, brother. [00:03:25] Speaker A: Definitely. [00:03:25] Speaker B: Hey, check out young gravy hobby Mac.
